紹介\nPromise の紹介\n\n\nThis talk is part of a series of meet-ups
that our current Code Chrysalis students (CC1) are holding. Please come a
nd check out what they've been doing in their "spare" time! Open to all l
evels. \nSummary\nWhy Promises? Promises are a great way to clean up your
code and reduce dependencies on external libraries. Up until promises ar
rived\, JavaScript developers had been using callbacks. But if you had pl
enty of async tasks to do\, you would get stuck in what was known as "cal
lback hell." Developers who use them swear by promises and developers who
don't just don't know what they're missing.\nPegah will explain what pro
mises are and how you can start thinking differently in JavaScript. \nTop

Pegah Einaliyan is from Iran where she is studying information technology
at Isfahan University of Technology. Now she is a student at Code Chrysa
lis. \nShe came all the way to Japan to learn more about JavaScript and p
rogramming and Japanese culture. \nShe wants to share with you one of her
  favorite topics--promises.\nAbout Code Chrysalis\n\nCode Chrysalis is a
12-week advanced software engineer school in Tokyo teaching full-stack we
b application development in English and JavaScript. \nWe believe that be
ing a capable modern software engineer is more than just knowing how to u
se Rails. Our curriculum focuses on building strong foundational programm
ing knowledge and coupling that with modern technologies and best practic
 es.
