 d AI: Collaboration and Co-evolution between Humans and AIs"\n　　（
 実世界人工知能：人間と協調し共進化する人工知能）\
 n\n　2012年の深層学習による機械学習のブレークスルー
 以来、こうした新しい果実を用いるための活動が盛ん
 になり、産業技術総合研究所 人工知能研究センターで
 も多くの研究が進められて様々な成果をあげてきまし
 た。\n　今まさに、人工知能の研究開発は、具体的な
 成果が様々なビジネスに利用される新しいフェーズに
 入り、新しい種類の先進的な課題の研究開発が世界的
 に始まっています。\n　産業技術総合研究所 人工知能
 研究センターは、引き続き「実世界に埋め込まれる人
 工知能」の実現に向けて、この新しい研究開発のフェ
 ーズをリードしたいと考えています。そこで、2月21日
 に公開の国際シンポジウムを開催いたします。\n\n　Sin
 ce the breakthrough of machine learning by convolutional deep neural netw
 ork in 2012\, a lot of new activities to utilize these new fruits have be
 en in boom\, and AI research center (AIRC) under AIST has been promoting 
 significant research activities and obtained various kinds of excellent r
 esults.\n　Now\, the AI research and development will be in the new phas
 e where concrete results are now exploited in the variety kind of busines
 s activities\, and new type of advanced research topics begins to be stud
 ied globally.\n　AIRC continuously keeps its focus on AI embedded in the
  real world\, and wishes to lead this new era of research and development
  AI. In order to realize this wish\, the international symposium will be

 ociate Professor in the Machine Learning Department\, School of Computer 
 Science at Carnegie Mellon University. He received his B.Tech. in Compute
 r Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology\, Bomba
 y\, andhis PhD in Machine Learning from the School of Computer Science at
  Carnegie Mellon University. He was previously an Associate Professor in 
 the Department of Computer Science\, and Associate Director at the Center
  for Big Data Analytics\, at the University ofTexas at Austin. His thesis
  has received honorable mentions in the ACM SIGKDD Dissertation award and
  the CMU School of Computer Science Distinguished Dissertation award. He 
 is a Sloan Fellow\, a Siebel Scholar\, a recipient of the NSF CAREER Awar
 d\, and was ProgramChair for the International Conference on Artificial I

 FKI. In 1993\, Andreas became a Professor at the Computer Science Departm
