sThe event is conducted together with Justa.--Speaker Intros:----Jordan F
isher:--Jordan Fisher is Co-founder and CEO of Zehitomo\, Japan’s premi
er marketplace for local services. Recruiting the right people for Zehito
mo is one of Jordan's most important jobs as a founder. From photographers
\, to plumbers\, to personal trainers\, Zehitomo empowers small businesse
s and freelancers that conduct their business offline. By providing a pla
tform where customers can make highly customized requests\, and service p
rofessionals can follow through with highly tailored solutions\, Zehitomo
is actively disrupting Japan's $200 billion local services industry.Prio
r to founding Zehitomo\, Jordan was Vice President at J.P.Morgan in Tokyo
. He worked as a programmer and project manager in Fixed Income Technolog
y\, before moving to help grow the Equity business as an Electronic Sales
Trader covering both Japanese and international clients. Born and raised
in New York\, Jordan holds a B.S. Computer Science from the University o
f Southern California. Outside of Zehitomo\, Jordan is an active mentor t
o several Tokyo startups. He is also a loving husband\, and a father to t
wo young daughters.--Chris Gerpheide:--Chris is the VP of Engineering at
Bespoke Inc\, where she leads the engineering team and acts as tech hirin
 g manager.Bespoke develops Bebot\, an AI chatbot for tourism in Japan\, s
erving clients including Narita airport\, the Japanese Government\, Kyoto
City\, and train stations and hotels. Chris is passionate about technolo
gy and hiring pleasant people. Upon joining Bespoke in late 2018\, she st
reamlined the technical interview process to maximize for efficiency and
culture fit\, and since then has grown the engineering team from 7 to 15
engineers\, hiring roles from web developer to QA to machine learning eng
ineer. Before joining Bespoke\, Chris was a Software Development Manager a
t Amazon Web Services and she holds an MSc. in Computer Science and Engin
eering. --Mike Omoto:--Michael Toshiro Omoto graduated from UC Irvine in
2006 with a degree in psychology\, and had careers in teaching and resear
ch before becoming a programmer. He joined a team of four engineers at Pr
esto\, then known as E la Carte\, in 2012 in Silicon Valley. In 2015\, he
was promoted to the Director of Engineering until 2018\, when he joined
Mercari as an Engineering Manager. He strongly believes that having a dive
rse engineering team directly leads to better product\, including having
people of diverse backgrounds. As creating technology becomes more and mo
re accessible\, it is clear that the next generation of startups will be
led not by CS majors\, but by tech bilinguals\, who have deep domain know
ledge in the systems they're trying to improve. In his spare time\, he vol
unteers for programming bootcamps\, the Japanese American National Museum
\, and the Pan-American Nikkei Association.Mike actually started his prog
ramming career as the 4th engineer in a startup. It ended up being a good
bet for him\, and frankly when it comes to learning how to do a wide var
iety of things\, there are not many environments better than a startup th
at allows you to do that\, he thinks.--Yan Fan:--Born in China and raised
in Seattle\, Yan graduated from Dartmouth College with degrees in Econom
ics and Arabic. After graduation\, Yan worked at Bunge Global Agribusines
s\, a commodities trading house. After a career change into tech\, Yan wo
rked as a software engineer at Ayasdi\, a leading Silicon Valley machine
learning startup\, and as an instructor for Hack Reactor's prep course.Co
de Chrysalis is Yan's second coding bootcamp--with Hack Reactor\, she co-
founded and served as CTO of a coding school in Jordan helping refugees i
