〜 19:30 Doors open\n\nGrab a drink and catch up with your fellow Rubyis
ts.\n\n19:30 〜 20:00 Tests should be fast: why and how? Masafumi Okura\
n\nI'm sure some of you struggled with slow tests. Slow tests are bad bec
ause tests give us important feedback and are crucial part of our develop
ment process. It's worth fixing the slow tests\, but the problem is that
we don't share how to fix them. In this talk\, I'll share the background\
, the tools\, and examples of fixing slow tests.\n\nProfile\n\nMasafumi i
s a freelance software developer mainly focusing on Ruby and Rails. He's
a staff of some software events including VimConf. He sometimes gave shor
t talks at regional Ruby communities and meetups. His current interest is
productivity and craftsmanship.\n\n20:00 〜 20:30 Rubyist show and tell
\n\nDo you have a cool snippet of Ruby code that you'd like to share\, bu
t it doesn't warrant an entire presentation? A challenge with your Ruby a
pplication you've been struggling with\, and would like some advice? A he
lpful library or tool you've come across? This is your chance to share it
.\n\nFor those who'd like to participate\, you'll have up to five minutes
. There's no need to create a slide deck\, but you'll be able to use the
projector if you have a code sample or something else to share. While we'
ll ask you if you'd like to participate when signing up\, this is just to
gauge interest\, and you can change your mind on the day of the event.\n
 \n20:30 〜 21:30 Open Networking\n\nDiscuss the presentations or anythin
g else Ruby related with the other attendees.\n\nVenue Sponsor\n\nPIXTA's
engineers use Ruby on Rails to build their stock photo marketplace\, and
are looking for developers to join their team. You can learn more about
what they're working on through their engineering blog.\n\nAbout the Venu
e\n\nFrom 19:00\, the main entrance of the building is locked. Please use
the back entrance (裏手 in Japanese\, see this picture of it). The bac
k entrance will be locked from 8pm onwards\, so please be sure to show up
  before then.
