sandbox for your Rails app Kevin Dias\n\nThis presentation will explore
using the Apartment gem to create a training sandbox and seeding that san

nI'll discuss the pros and cons of this strategy and why I chose this par
ticular solution for the internal Rails app used at the company I work fo
r.\n\nProfile\n\nI started learning Rails in 2012 and have experience bui
lding applications in the language learning\, translation and medical spa
ce. I currently live in Tochigi and work remotely for a US healthcare com
 pany.\n\n20:00 〜 20:30 Rubyist show and tell\n\nDo you have a cool snip
pet of Ruby code that you'd like to share\, but it doesn't warrant an ent
ire presentation? A challenge with your Ruby application you've been stru
ggling with\, and would like some advice? A helpful library or tool you'v
e come across? This is your chance to share it.\n\nFor those who'd like t
o participate\, you'll have up to five minutes. There's no need to create
a slide deck\, but you'll be able to use the projector if you have a cod
e sample or something else to share. While we'll ask you if you'd like to
participate when signing up\, this is just to gauge interest\, and you c
an change your mind on the day of the event.\n\n20:30 〜 21:30 Open Netw
orking\n\nDiscuss the presentations or anything else Ruby related with th
 e other attendees.\n\nFood Sponsor\n\ntokyodev helps international devel
