深層学習は、他のメソッドでは達成できない高度さと規模をもって入力データにパターンを見い出しますが、それでもなお、上手くラベル付けされた大量のデータセットを必要としています。 世界の企業は、機械学習アプリケーション用に、限定的ではあるものの特定のデータセットしか持っていないため、より一般化された業界データに頼るか、カスタマイズされたモデルを手動で構築・調整することに何ヵ月も費やすことを余儀なくされてきました。

このセッションにおいて、ハべシ博士は、常識ナレッジベースのデジタル的直観を加味するという3つ目の選択肢に注目します。 Luminosoなどの企業は、構造化された情報を容量のより少ないデータセットに加味することで、拡張性と正確さを犠牲にすることなく、ビッグデータ要件から機械学習アルゴリズムを解放してきました。 またこのセッションには、Luminosoのソフトウェアの実演デモも含まれています。

Deep learning finds patterns in input data with a sophistication and scale that other methods can’t achieve, yet often requires large, well-labeled data sets. Since global enterprises have limited but specific datasets for machine learning applications, they have been forced to either rely on more generalized industry data, or spend months manually building and tuning customized models.

In this session, Dr. Havasi will highlight a third option: adding the digital intuition of a common sense knowledge base. By adding structured information to smaller data sets, companies like Luminoso have freed machine learning algorithms from big data requirements without sacrificing scalability and accuracy. The session includes demonstrations of Luminoso’s software in action.
