Meet our 95th Raid The Fridge speaker: Mark Birch, Principal Startup Advocate of AWS for the Asia-Pacific and Japan. He joins us to connect with the #startupPH community and share how AWS helps startups succeed: from inception to IPO.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Mark Birch | Principal Startup Advocate for the Asia-Pacific & Japan, AWS

Mark is a community builder, software entrepreneur, business development expert, and startup advisor based in Singapore. He currently works at AWS as the Principal Startup Advocate for APJ sharing the stories of how founders across Asia-Pacific benefit from building and scaling their startups on AWS.
 
He is the founder of DEVBIZOPS, a publication that reaches 4,000 technology leaders about innovation, technology leadership, and engineering transformation. Mark also founded the Enterprise Sales Forum, a global community of 25,000 B2B sales professionals to share ideas, network with peers, and learn new skills.
 
Previously, Mark was at Stack Overflow to help launch and commercialize their Enterprise Q&A platform and then led efforts to expand business in APAC working with C-level executives to help them understand how to build internal tech communities in order to improve software delivery performance.

Before Stack Overflow, Mark founded an HR tech startup in the workforce analytics space and was an advisor to many B2B tech startups in the NYC startup ecosystem. Mark also worked at enterprise tech companies like Siebel and Oracle in various management and individual contributor roles.
