開催概要

openSUSE Asia Summit はアジア地域の openSUSE コミュニティ(貢献者、ユーザー)が一堂に集まり、交流し、楽しむイベントです。普段はオンラインで活動しているコミュニティのメンバーが実際に会うことができる貴重な機会となっています。

openSUSE Asia Summit は、今年の東京開催で 4 回目となります。2014 年に第 1 回が北京で開催され、 台湾、ジョグジャカルタで開催されてきました。これまでの開催では、中国、台湾、インド、インドネシア、日本および、ドイツから参加者が集まりました。

プログラム

今年の Summit は次のようなトラックがあり、約50件の発表(日本語または英語)が行われます:

  • openSUSE Track (クラウドやコンテナ、Linux kernel などを含む)
  • LibreOffice mini Conference Track
  • Linux Desktop Track
  • FLOSS Security Track

Overview

openSUSE Asia Summit is one of the great events for openSUSE community (i.e., both contributors, and users) in Asia. Those who usually communicate online can get together from all over the world, talk face to face, and have fun.

This event at Tokyo is the fourth in openSUSE Asia Summit. Following the first Asia Summit in Beijing 2014, Asia Summit has been held annually. The second summit was at Taipei in Taiwan, then Yogyakarta in Indonesia. The past Asia Summits have had participants from China, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Germany.

Program

This summit consists of about 50 talks belonging to the tracks below:

  • openSUSE Track (including container and Linux kernel)
  • LibreOffice mini Conference Track
  • Linux Desktop Track
  • FLOSS Security Track

Registration is going to be open at 9 a.m. Please come to our registration desk by 9:30.

Summit party: Oct. 21 Sat. 7 pm–9 pm

Information

  • Please finish registration as early as possible. Due to the limitation of the number of gifts and handout, only people who registered earlier will be able to get them.
  • If you finish registration after Oct 18, you will need to wait at reception.

Code of conduct and permission of use of your photo

  • Summit attendees must obey the following code of conduct

  • The committee and media partners will take photo, record video, and do live streaming to spread how the summit is. The attendees allow the committee and the media partners to use your photo or video without asking explicit permission. If you want to prevent your photo from being used as possible, please ask the committee.
