Details Rust is a systems programming language[9] sponsored by Mozilla Research,[10] which describes it as a "safe, concurrent, practical language,"[11] supporting functional and imperative-procedural paradigms. Rust is syntactically similar to C++, but its designers intend it to provide better memory safety while maintaining performance.

Code Chrysalis will be holding a free meetup led by one of our students to teach the basics of Rust!

Topics:

What is Rust? What is special about it? Why should you learn it? How do you get started?

Please bring a computer. This will be hands-on!
