#CodeFromHome: Codewars, join the challenge! - Beginner edition

What's more fun than practicing some Codewars Katas at home on a Sunday afternoon? Doing it with fellow developers!

We're really excited to bring you the very first edition of our Codewars Speedbattles challenge.
The concept is simple: join from your couch, battle with others, and claim the first prize!

For this first edition, we'll be proposing beginner-friendly katas selected from the 7-kyu and 8-kyu pool.
All challenges will have to be solved using our favorite language, Ruby.

What coding level should you have? If you've already completed the Ruby Codecademy online course (https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-ruby), you're good to go.
And to make it a fun learning opportunity for everyone, we'll also be proposing solutions for each kata after the time is out.

Last but not least: we're preparing cool prizes for the winner!

Pre-requisite

• This is a 100% online challenge
• Create a Codewars account (http://codewars.com)
• Download Zoom app (https://zoom.us/download)
• Basic notions of Ruby (loops, iterators, arrays, hashes)
