What is Rails Girls / Rails Girls Japan?

Rails Girls was originally founded in Helsinki, in 2010. Since then it has grown into a global community, with events all around the world, that aims to help women understand technology and acquire the skills to turn their ideas into reality.

Rails Girls Japan is an organization that supports Rails Girls events hosted in Japan. The first workshop was held in Tokyo in September 2012, and since then there have been 76 workshops all across the country.

• You must be a registered attendee of RubyKaigi 2026 to sign up for this event.
• Participation is open to women and non-binary individuals.
• Participants agree to abide by the RubyKaigi Anti-Harassment Policy and the Rails Girls Code of Conduct.

• If you cannot attend for any reason, please cancel your registration at the earliest convenience.

Rails Girls/Rails Girls Japan とは？

Rails Girlsは、2010年にヘルシンキで設立された団体です。より多くの女性がプログラミングに親しみ、アイディアを形にできる技術を身につける手助けをするコミュニティで、現在では世界各国に活動が広がっています。

Rails Girls Japan は日本における Rails Girls イベントの開催を支援する団体です。
2012年9月に東京で初めてのワークショップが開催され、これまで全国各地で76回開催されています。

お申し込み前の注意事項

• 本イベントへのお申し込みはRubyKaigi 2026の参加者であることが必要です。
• 参加者は女性・ノンバイナリーとします。
• 参加者はRubyKaigiアンチハラスメントポリシー、Rails Girls Code of Conductの遵守をお願いします。
• 本イベントの写真や詳細について、インターネット上で共有される場合があります。
• お申し込み後、欠席される場合は、速やかに申込キャンセル処理をお願いします。
