Come join our October Raid The Fridge next week on Thursday, October 27th!

We're excited to present to you a line-up of speakers who are great ambassadors of Youth + Enthusiasm and Experience in the context of startups and entrepreneurship:

FIRST: Three student organisations - YouthHack Manila, UP Center for Student Innovations, and HealthHacks PH - will be pitching to the startup community: who they are, what they do, what the’ve done, and what support do they need from the StartupPH Community.

Each group has done a tremendous job of organising hackathons, bootcamps, and networking events for students on entrepreneurship, digital technology, and startup innovation. They aspire to do more: once you’ve listened to them pitch, we hope you’d be happy to reach out to them and offer assistance so they can do more.

SECOND: Tech VC firm Monk’s Hill Ventures joins us to talk about compensation - How Do Startups Pay Themselves? Compensation data for startup executives are difficult to come by hence we’re lucky to have their Managing Partner Kuo-yi Lim share some findings from a survey done in Singapore that will shed some light on general trends and principles to consider when recruiting and rewarding team members.

If this topic is important to you, Kuo-Yi is very interested to have a discussion with founders/startup folks from the #startupPH community.

So come over on October 27th: renew friendships, create new contacts, and swap stories with the startup community.

Best,
The Kickstart Team
