If you are an engineer, it is unavoidable to learn a new programming language, no matter whether it is the first language ever learnt. In this talk I would like to share how to learn a new programming language, with some general and some specific ideas that may help you to learn, appreciate and evaluate programming languages.

Speaker

Greg Weng is a language enthusiast. He likes to learn and play with programming languages. He previously worked at Mozilla (Taiwan) and Rakuten (Japan). Now he is working at Mercari (Japan).
