多くの人がOpenCensusを知らなかった／興味があるということだったので、実際にOpenCensusを使っている人を中心としてノウハウを共有していくための場を作りたいと思い企画しました。

The poll linked above shows that 50%+ of who answered the survey didn't know / are interested in OpenCensus, and the organizer runs this event to share the know-how of OpenCensus with its existing and expecting users.

受付 / Reception

イベント当日の受付は六本木ヒルズ LL階にあります。 / The reception of the event is in Roppongi Hills LL floor.

発表 / Presentations

発表者絶賛募集中ですので、発表者枠でご登録ください。応募フォームをきちんと書いてくれた方は参加枠を確保します。 / Call for Proposal is open! Please submit your proposal via the registration form. The organizer will secure the seat for those who submitted the proposal.

LT枠 / Lightning Talk: 5分のOpenCensusに関するLTを行ってください。 / Please give 5 minutes lightning talk session on OpenCensus.
ブログ枠 / Blog report: 参加後にイベント感想か、自分でOpenCensusを試したブログを書いてください。 / Please post event report blog entries afterwards; otherwise, please try OpenCensus and post the impression on it afterwards.
一般参加 / Attendee: 特にありませんが、積極的に質疑などでイベントを盛り上げてください / It's preferred to ask questions aggressively to make the event active.
発表枠 / Speaker: 20分のOpenCensusに関する発表を行ってください。/ Please give 20 minutes talk session on OpenCensus.

発表枠・LT枠は枠を超えても登録可能です。きちんと発表内容を提案してくれた方は漏れてしまっても参加枠を確保します。 / You can register your talk as either of speaker session or LT even if all slots are gone. I'll secure your seats even if your talk won't be accepted.

参加できない場合はイベント当日昼までにキャンセルをお願いします。無断欠席の場合は次回以降のイベントでペナルティがあります。 / If you get not to be able to join the event after the registration, please cancel your reservation by the noon of the event day. If you make no-show, you'll get some penalty in next event registration.
