About this event

For beginner and above: Welcome to all audiences have zero or many years of experience of this topic.

Optics is a popular topic among library authors and bloggers, but we rarely see optics in real world code bases. Why is that? Why are optics not popular?

In this talk, the speaker not only answers this question, but also offers some solutions to the current problems with Monocle API.

Monocle (https://www.optics.dev/Monocle/) is a Scala library but the concepts are applicable to any programming languages. You don't need any prior Scala experience to follow most of the talk.
