This talk is open to everyone, but best for beginners through intermediates (2-3 years).

Summary

Have you ever taken time to learn the basics of JavaScript? If your answer is NO, you'll be interested in this meetup :) After 2 years of front-end development experience, Kumiko read a technical book about JavaScript and realized that she had missed some fundamental building blocks.

She was shocked.

Kumiko hopes to use this opportunity to share her knowledge, as it could be the same case for other developers, too.

In this talk, Kumiko will pick apart very basic questions about JavaScript and solve them with you in a game-style. Let's go back to the basics and cover the gaps together!

JavaScriptの基礎を学ぶためにしっかりと時間をかけたことはありますか？もし答えが「NO」なら、このミートアップにぜひ参加してみてください。私は、2年のフロントエンド開発を経て、JavaScriptの技術書を手に取ったのですが、基本力を築くことに時間を割かずにここまで来てしまったことに気がつきました。そして、こういった状況は他のエンジニアでも起こっているのではないかと思い、今回のミートアップを開催することにしました！今回は私が知らなかったJavaScriptの基本的な質問を、参加型のゲーム形式で一緒に解いていきます。基礎に立ち返ってギャップを埋めていきましょう！

Kumiko Haraguchi worked as a frontend developer at a development shop in Shibuya before joining Code Chrysalis’s first cohort. She's passionate about understanding web standards deeply, expanding her skills towards full stack, and becoming as a software engineer.
