台風19号到来後、最初のアイデアソン・・・テーマは「Disaster Resilience」
We will hold the first Ideathon following Typhoon No.19. The topic is “Disaster Resilience”.

**※本イベントは、IBMグループ社員および大学生/大学院生/外国籍留学生のみご参加いただけます

IBM Global（全社）では、Make a Difference Dayと銘打ち、1年に一度ボランティアイベントを世界同時開催しております。
今年のGlobalテーマは「Climate action & Sustainable city」。

そこでIBM Japanでは、「Disaster Resilience」をテーマにイベントを開催いたします。
特に、持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）の11番目「住み続けられるまちづくりを」について
防災×ITの観点でアイデアソンを実施します。

・"住み続けられるまち"とは・・・？
・予測できない自然災害に、私たちは何ができるのか・・・？

なお、防災・ITについての知識がなくてもご安心ください。
当日は防災についてのインプットセミナーと、IBM Cloud を使った参加型のデモンストレーションも実施します。

※スマートフォン( iPhone, Android )をご持参ください。 また必須ではありませんが、LINE がインストールされているスマートフォンであれば、イベント終了後にも使えるちょっとしたお土産をお楽しみいただけます。

IBM Japan is going to hold an event on the topic of “Disaster Resilience”. We will primarily be focusing on “Sustainable cities and communities”, - Goal 11 from the Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs), and will organize an Ideathon that combines the perspectives of Disaster Prevention × IT.

• What are “Sustainable cities and communities”?
• What can/should we do when facing an unpredictable disaster?

We will prepare a seminar on disaster, as well as a demonstration of the IBM Cloud which everyone can participate in. So don’t worry if you don’t have any background in disaster prevention or IT.

If you are a person who wants to brainstorm on disaster resilience, a person who wants to take on new challenges, or a person who wants to know more about information technology, please feel free to participate in our event！ Whether you are a student or an IBMer, let's use this great opportunity to deepen our understanding of community development for designing a more sustainable city. Students who want to learn more about the IBM Cloud are also welcome to our event. No experience in either topic is required.
