Four unique speakers discuss why they moved from the city to the countryside, how they work, and changes in their lives.

Mike Schroder

Mike Schroder is a cross-cultural kid, coffee enthusiast, and supporter of Open Source.
As a full-time contributor sponsored by GoDaddy, they’re a WordPress committer, media component maintainer, hosting team representative, and previous release lead. He moved to Ogijima from US in 2019.

Jean-Christophe Helary

Jean-Christophe Helary, a translator born and raised in France and moved to Takamatsu City, Japan.

Miho Inoue

After graduating from university, got a job at a specialized trading company. After working for two years, studied abroad in Bangkok, Thailand. As a tech writer, she started freelance activities throughout Southeast Asia.
After returning to Japan, she joined Nulab Inc. which develops IT tools to improve work efficiency with the motto "Enjoy working as a team." Currently, she is mainly in charge of content marketing and is in charge of a wide range of activities such as owned media editing/operation, campaign planning, newsletter creation, product copywriting, and site translation.
Due to the influence of corona, she moved from Tokyo to his hometown of Chiba, and is working at full telework.

Susumu Seino

aniuma OÜ CEO. He started programming by himself at the age of 9 and became independent as a freelance web programmer in 2014.
Engaged in planning, development and operation of Web media for publishers and content marketing operations, and founded a digital marketing strategy planning and operation support company in Estonia in Northern Europe in 2019.
As a digital nomad that does not have a specific residence, practice the lifestyle of traveling while working the world by remote work. Distribute information to spread the value of a borderless lifestyle.

He lives on a small island in the Seto Inland Sea called Ogijima. Before that, He lived in Bangkok for two and a half years, and before that I was in Tokyo.
Currently, we are practicing a business that unleashes the capabilities of clients and people who have solutions by designing "question," "listen," and "startup" with a focus on remote work.

WordPress のコミッター、メディアコンポーネントのメンテナ、ホスティングチームの代表で、過去のリリースのリードをつとめたこともある。2019年に米国から男木島に移住。

エラリー ジャンクリストフ(Jean)

フランスで生まれ育ち、日本の高松市に移住した翻訳者。

井上美穂

大学卒業後、専門商社に就職。2年勤めたのちにタイのバンコクへ社会人留学。テックライターとして東南アジアを転々としながらフリーランス活動を開始。
日本帰国後は「チームではたらくを楽しくする」をモットーにした業務効率化ITツールを開発する株式会社ヌーラボに入社。現在はコンテンツマーケティングを中心として、オウンドメディア編集・運営、キャンペーン企画、ニュースレター作成、製品のコピーライティング、サイト翻訳など幅広く担当する。
コロナの影響で東京都から実家の千葉県に移住し、フルテレワークで仕事中。

清野進

aniuma OÜ CEO。9歳から独学でプログラミングを始め、2014年にフリーランスのWebプログラマーとして独立。
