The evolution of cloud native software

Abstract: Cloud native software was redefined with the massive adoption of Kubernetes. Companies are comfortable with the idea of building and shipping containers. But how does this evolution affected the Java space? In this session, we will look at a project called Dapr. We will deep dive into how Dapr works with Kubenetes, but more importantly what does this mean for Java and Spring Boot developers. Join us to learn more about Dapr, Kubernetes and Spring Boot and how to contribute to open source projects.

Bio: Mauricio Salatino (aka @Salaboy) is a Dapr and Knative project mantainer. He works for a company called Diagrid and he is a co-leader at a CNCF working group called Application Development. He is also the author of the book title Platform Engineering on Kubernetes for Manning Publishing.
